Cachitos512 is truly one of Austin’s hidden gems. The food is fresh, authentic, and made with so much care. The arepas are absolutely delicious, crispy on the outside and perfectly filled with flavorful ingredients. You can tell everything is homemade and prepared to order. The service is warm and welcoming, and the owners make you feel like family. It’s more than just food, it’s an experience and a beautiful introduction to Venezuelan cuisine. If you’re in Austin, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend the arepas, cachapas, and tequeños. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

This place is amazing, there’s 7 more food trucks but my favorite was cachitos 512, if you like Venezuelan food this is the place! If you want to try something different this is the place!!! The empanadas are AMAZING so flavorful and the cachapa (cachapa is a cornmeal pancake) with brisket and cheese, was my favorite! They had a special of beef hearty food and it was soooo good, the perfect comfort food soup!

The empanadas first caught my eye until I saw arepas on the menu. I have been dying to try them and I’m so happy this was the place where I got them. I also had a cachito for the first time! HOW HAVE I NEVER HAD ONE BEFORE?!?! It was so amazingly delicious. The wonderful person in the window is so friendly too. Definitely my new favorite truck.

Absolutely amazing! Will definitely come back for more. My friend and I came to another food truck but wanted to try something else and decided to order the empanadas. I’ve had them before but never the way Cachitos makes them. The most delicious fried dough and amazing beef filling ever! I cannot wait to try more.

Absolutely delicious. Flavors all blended together perfectly. Every bite was magic. And to top it all off: gorgeous presentation. A must try. The vegan one had avocado and plantains and was fantastic.
