A true Venezuelan gem in the heart of Chicago’s Loop! As a Venezuelan, finding a place like Bien Me Sabe right in the middle of Chicago’s financial district honestly blew my mind. Surrounded by office buildings and big companies, this spot brings a real taste of Venezuela to the Loop and people know it. I saw so many non-Venezuelans coming in for lunch, which says a lot about how good this place is. They serve arepas with huge, flavorful fillings, cachapas, and Venezuelan bowls that look and taste amazing. Everything was fresh, and the service was super fast and friendly. The empanaditas come in orders of three, same with the tequeños, and they’re perfectly stuffed, small enough to try different flavors, which I loved. They also have natural juices. I had a passion fruit one and it was delicious, perfectly sweet, super cold, and really refreshing. They even sell Frescolita, Malta, and all those drinks that make Venezuelans instantly nostalgic. There’s plenty of space to sit, and the location couldn’t be more convenient. Honestly, this place is a 10 out of 10. Whether you’re grabbing something quick or sitting down for lunch, it’s perfect. The portions are generous, the food is complete, protein, carbs, flavor, everything you need in one plate. It’s not the cheapest spot in town, but that’s just how Venezuelan food is, and trust me, it’s absolutely worth every dollar. If you’re in Chicago, especially around the Loop, and want something truly Venezuelan, Bien Me Sabe is the place to go. 🇻🇪🔥

Found the perfect lunch spot! BienMeSabe is an awesome little bar with some of the best Venezuelan food I’ve had. The arepas were delicious and incredibly fresh. The staff is so friendly, and the portions are just the right size—filling enough to be satisfying, but light enough to keep me going for the rest of the day. A must-visit if you're in the neighborhood!

The guasacaca in the Caribbean arepa was fantastic. The Tropical Vegan was more subtly flavored, but the marinated tofu was very good. We went on Wednesday evening, when arepas are discounted, but the discount only applied to one of these two items.

Tasty Venezuelan food and friendly employees. We had a pabellón arepa, three emapanaditas, three tequeños, and a tres leches cake for dessert. It was our first time trying Venezuelan food, so we cannot vouch for its authenticity, but based on other reviews we trust it to be representative of the country’s cuisine. Everything tasted good and fresh. We also liked the staff and the nice atmosphere (inside, though - the immediate vicinity of this place has some very shady people hanging around in the evenings, and we even observed open drug dealing right in front of the premises). All in all, we were satisfied and would eat here again. That being said, we deduct one star since we found the food a tad too expensive for what it was. Nevertheless a place to recommend (at least during daytime).

super lovely lunch - had the catira arepa was cheesy and the chicken was great - the sauce really pulled it together. food came out super fast and service was so nice i was offered water and seating was comfy too. great lunch spot!!
