If you're looking for authentic Colombian flavors and high-quality cuts of meat in Jacksonville, Salento Steakhouse is the real deal. As someone who appreciates a massive, protein-packed meal, this place absolutely delivers on both quality and portion size. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for an asado feast. Jada and I had a fantastic time digging into their menu. The lamb chops were exceptionally juicy with a perfect char, served alongside fresh grilled vegetables. The real showstopper, though, was the traditional skillet loaded with crispy chicharrón, tender steak, fresh avocado, and golden tostones. Every bite was packed with flavor. Whether you're eyeing the Cowboy Steak, the Filet Mignon, or one of their massive combination plates with ribs and chorizo, you definitely won't leave hungry. It’s an awesome local spot with solid service. I’ll definitely be taking the Kawasaki out for another ride over here soon. Highly recommended!

If flavor had a passport, this Colombian spot would need extra pages. 🇨🇴 We were lucky enough to be guided by Melvin, a true flavor whisperer whose recommendations did not miss. The maduros were caramelized perfection, the morcilla was rich and boldly seasoned, and the empanadas con queso, jamón y piña were tiny golden portals that transported us straight to Cartagena. Crispy on the outside, melty and sweet-savory inside, they alone were worth the visit. Then came the skirt steak with chimichurri, cooked beautifully and topped with bright, garlicky herb magic that had us dragging every last bite through the sauce. Every dish felt vibrant and generous, the kind of meal that turns dinner into a celebration. We came hungry and left planning our return. 💃🏽🥩✨

Our friend from Jacksonville introduced us to Salento Colombian Steakhouse, and I’m so glad they did. The food was outstanding, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere felt very welcoming and family-oriented. The fresh juices were my favorite—so refreshing and instantly reminded me of my travels to Colombia and Ecuador. I also loved their homemade chimichurri sauce and ended up using it on everything, from the grilled steak to the tostones. If you’re looking for authentic Colombian food with great flavors and a warm vibe, I highly recommend Salento Colombian Steakhouse.

Fantastic! Steak was sizzling, tender and delicious. Empanadas were flavorful with a nice crispy exterior. Rice and beans were perfect. Salad was the only thing that was a bit basic. Ranch dressing however made up for it. Sangria was fresh made, light, and fruity. Unique Colombian beer selection. Looking forward to coming back.

This place is a hidden gem in terms of food!! It's located in a strip mall, but if it was a standalone building and they upgraded the furniture, decorations, and ambiance . . . This place would probably make a gizzilion more tons of money! I ordered the cowboy steak and it is the BEST steak I have EVER tasted. I'm not a big steak person, but it was father's day and I splurged. Being somewhat of a foodie, I ordered the steak cooked medium and I tell you it was seasoned and cooked to perfection! The sides were awesome as well! Each dish had a unique flavored item in it which made it even better. While the service was subpar, you have to keep in mind where you're dining and the culture, meaning it's the usual. Despite that, I have told EVERYONE about this place and I recommend it whole-heartedly!
