We went to Casa Ora last night to celebrate my birthday, and I’m still thinking about every single bite. The asado negro alone deserves its own love letter. If you’ve never had it, imagine a piece of beef that has been brined, marinated, and slow-cooked for hours until it becomes as tender as butter, then finished with a deep, glossy caramelization of papelón that gives you that slightly charred, smoky sweetness. It is the kind of dish that stops conversation at the table, an art piece with soul. And everything else? Perfection with nostalgia woven in. The plantains, the mini cachapas, the tequeños, and a pan de jamón so good it could make your abuela cry, warm, tender, slightly sweet, salty, comforting. Every plate felt like someone was inviting us into their home, letting us taste the food their family grew up on, the food that fills the kitchen on a Sunday afternoon. Casa Ora is full of heart. You can feel the love, the purpose, the passion in every corner, not just in the dishes but in the way the team carries themselves. It is rare to find a place that feeds you and moves you at the same time. This is the restaurant you will rave about. The one you will bring friends to, brag about, and keep thinking about long after you leave. An unforgettable meal, and a perfect birthday. Thank you, Casa Ora. 💛

I came all the way from Manhattan to meet friends here for dinner, and it was absolutely worth it. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. We ordered a variety of dishes from the menu, and I had the chance to try almost everything, every single dish was delicious and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting, making you feel comfortable right away. It’s the kind of place where you want to stay longer and truly enjoy the evening. A big thank you as well to the lovely staff for their warm hospitality and excellent service. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place and would definitely come back again.

My family and I went to celebrate my parents 36th anniversary and my brothers 24th birthday. The staff was amazing. Super quiet for a Sunday. The place is dark and intimate which I loved personally. The FOOD?! 100/10. The drinks? Just as good 100/10. So much flavor in each dish and appetizer. I only got a picture of my paella but let me tell you, BEST paella. I’ve ever had. I’d recommend the shrimp appetizer as well because the sauce with it?! OUT OF THIS WORLD. Most definitely coming back again!

The atmosphere felt very intimate, it was dark but inviting and a great spot for a date. Service was phenomenal, they were very attentive and gave great recommendations. The cocktails were a 9/10, I had a spicy mango drink. The arepas were incredible but the number one dish was the bollitos pelones. Highly recommended. The baby shark dish was our least favorite but each dish was plated with care and very aesthetically pleasing.

Tried Venezuelan food for the first time and it didn’t disappoint. The whole spot had a warm vibe with a really inviting ambiance. Drinks were flavorful and a little strong in a good way. The food was the star though. The red snapper on tostones was fire, perfect coating and great flavor. The brisket with black beans and egg was incredibly flavorful and the meat was super tender. Overall, a really nice experience.
