We ordered the rotisserie chicken expecting the classic Venezuelan-style flavor, and it was quite good. However, the mojo sauce, which was described as Venezuelan, felt a bit distant from the original. There’s another restaurant in Miami that captures that authentic taste more closely, though this one remains a solid option overall. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the restaurant itself is beautifully designed. Our waiter, Luis, provided excellent service—he was attentive, clearly explained the menu and the process, and was genuinely helpful throughout our meal. As an appetizer, we tried the pork belly. Like in many “polleras,” the fatty part wasn’t crispy; it was simply pan-cooked on both sides. It wasn’t particularly worth it for the portion and the price. On the brighter side, the shredded salad was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The fried yuca was also excellent, especially when paired with the guasacaca that Luis kindly brought us upon request. Luis also recommended a great Tempranillo wine, which paired beautifully with our meal. Overall, Dando La Brasa is a very good place to eat, offering a wide variety of dishes. I specifically came for the chicken to relive the traditional Venezuelan “pollera” experience, and while it’s not exactly the same, it was still quite enjoyable. The wait time on a Saturday at noon was about ten minutes, which I found perfectly reasonable.

I found Dando la Brasa to be a very interesting and well-executed restaurant, especially appealing for lunch. We opted for the midday menu, which I strongly recommend for its excellent value for money. To start, we enjoyed a quarter rotisserie chicken, perfectly cooked and juicy, served with white rice, black beans, and a flavorful Peruvian-style chicken mojo. We also added a soup, which was comforting and genuinely very good—an ideal complement to the meal. We then tried the socarrat with chicken, accompanied by maduros and cheese. The dish was satisfying and well balanced, offering hearty flavors without feeling heavy. To drink, we had Estrella Damm Inedit, the beer created by Ferran Adrià, which paired beautifully with the food and was, quite simply, delicious. Overall, the service was warm and attentive, with the added comfort of being assisted in Spanish, which made the experience even more pleasant. I also recommend noting the convenient parking, a real plus in Miami.

Such a good lunch/dinner at Dando la Brassa! The flavor of the rotisserie is the result of the amazing seasoning. The sides had a perfect size to go next to tye chicken. BIG shoutout to our server, Gredxander, who was very attentive and made recommendations since it was our first time there.. The atmosphere was cool, good for dates or family get together. We will definitely be back!

Excellent drinks and food. We enjoyed the croquetas, ceviche traditional, pollo a la brasa y arroz con choclo. We also loved the guayabana (soursop) and Cocolemonade. Would definitely come again and recommend you include in your next visit to the area. Luis provided excellent recommendations and customer service.

Very good food in general, great flavor, the mojo that they put on the exquisite chicken and rice with corn very good, also everything freshly made. The place is clean and looks very beautiful. Her very attentive, professional dependents, Lizzy attended us, very nice.
