During our stay in Madrid, my wife’s father took us to La Arepera, a Venezuelan restaurant serving many typical dishes from Venezuela. We ordered the Tabla a la Arepera, which came as a super tasty platter with 3 mini arepas, 3 tequeños, 3 cachapas, 3 tostones, and some garnishes and sauces. It tasted amazing — and all that at a very reasonable price! The serving was more than enough for three people, and the Tinto de Verano drinks were great. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was excellent. The next day, after trying another place that turned out to be quite disappointing, my wife and I decided to return to La Arepera because our first experience had been so good — and we were not disappointed. This time we ordered the Parrillada Mixta from the BBQ: grilled beef and chicken served with two sausages and sides. Once again, we enjoyed our food enormously. The different waiting staff that evening were just as friendly and attentive as the team two days before, which clearly shows that great service is their standard. All in all, when we visit Madrid again in the future, we’ll definitely go back to La Arepera for dinner!

The arepas were delicious. I ate the Pabellon arepa and it was really good. The Venezuelan beer was good & cold as expected. The service was the highlight ✨️ extremely pleasant and warm. Thanks for the food, the service and the closeness. Fully recommended if you're looking for real Latin American flavors.

I loved the arepas so much I actually went there twice! Not only is the food amazing, but the staff also has to be commended for how nice they are. We had two vegetarians at the table (me included) and we could find great options for everyone. Can't recommend it enough!

Easy, central location. Quick and nice service. Good quality for a fast food plate. I got the cachapa llanera, plenty of cheese and a mix or sweet/salty combo that worked well. The meat was on the border of being chewy. The quantity was more than enough to feel full. The colleagues opted for the smaller plates, various types of arepas, that got served in these "pans", tasty but quite messy to eat. For a quick bite it's a decent choice.
