The restaurant isn’t fancy, but it has a casual and comfortable vibe. I especially enjoyed the Bomba (a type of arepa), Reina and the soup were really delicious. Zulia, a Venezuelan cerveza was also great with its light and refreshing texture. The staff were very kind and friendly as well Juan, Lily, and Franci (sorry if I misspelled the name) treated us with so much warmth and kindness.

We just arrived in Madrid, and the first thing we did was head to Tio Papepon to try some delicious Venezuelan food—and we were not disappointed! It exceeded all our expectations: the food was absolutely amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly. It's the best place in downtown Madrid to try Venezuelan food!

OMGGG I absolutely LOVED this place!!! The food brought me right back home, the ambiance literally had me dancing in my seat and Juan and Jose were the nicest people EVEEEER!!!!! 100000%recommended for when you come to Madrid!! Such a happy customer 🥰

Had a cachapa (big arepa) with delicious cheese in it (didn't care for the meat on top but picked around it) and a huge open-faced empanada. The green guac sauce was the best.

The food was amazing and they had delicious drinks on the side. The place is cozy with great service and a nice and helping staff.
