Amazing Venezuelan flavor! A family-friendly, traditional atmosphere, just like the Venezuelan plains. I've been to this place several times; the service and the quality of the products are a delight. For Venezuelans from the plains and for anyone who enjoys eating something unique from the Venezuelan plains, you'll find it here at La Vaquera Cachapera. Unique in its level of flavor. There are some imitators on Avenida 0, but they're not Venezuelan, and they don't even come close to the flavor.

If you're craving authentic Venezuelan cachapas, this is an excellent place to satisfy your craving. They make you feel right at home, from the moment you walk in, with llanera music playing and artwork by Venezuelan folk artists adorning the decor...and a generous portion of fried pork. If you'd like to have a beer with it, you can buy one a few shops away, preferably on the same side of the street as the restaurant, since the shop across the block doesn't sell or serve it. Prices vary, starting at 9,000 bolivars for a single cachapa, 12,000 bolivars with a whole slice of queso de mano (a type of Venezuelan cheese), or 20,000 bolivars if you want it with a side of fried pork.
