Most tourists will pass-by without going in just because it's not glamorous from the outside but don't let appearances fool you, this is the best authentic cuisine that we had in Colombia and the prices are totally low. This is where locals come to have a good lunch. The decor is simple, tables and chairs made of wood pallets, very down to earth, but they emphasize on the food quality and they nailed it. Don't be a stranger (even if you really are a tourist)... the Colombians here are super sympathetic and will wecome you with open arms 😉.

Arepa pepiada and chorizo arepa plus the fresh-made limonatas. 🧑‍🍳 This ended up being the best food we had in Cartagena and we came back 4 times in a week (also went to Carmen, Mar y Zielo, and La Cevicheria). The kid in the back is Matias, and his dinosaur’s name in Bobby 🦖. He is possibly the sweetest little kid I’ve met.

This place is delicious and has such a good vibe! I hadn’t been back to Colombia in years, and I got the spaghetti which is my favorite childhood meal and it was sooo good! 😭🥰 The arepas and juices were also amazing. Good service and good music. Stop going to those fancy places and come here instead to spend your $$
