No matter what location Autana ends up, they always set a high standard for delicious, authentic Venezuelan food. From their arepa-making classes to their empanada popups at Elixir, to their original brick n mortar in Ardmore, they have shared with us the beautiful culinary experience of Venezuelan food and what it means to be hospitable and humble and damn good at a craft. The family behind it all, Levi, María Jose, María Elena & Daniela provide the most welcoming , warm environment and whip up some of the best food I’ve ever had. I still think about their cachapa con pernil at least every other day and I still take home the skills I learned in their arepa making class. I really don’t know what else you can ask for, they hit all the marks!! Go order some arepas and empanadas as soon as you can and you will not regret it!

Autana is, hands down, the BEST Venezuelan food in the area. As a Venezuelan, I don’t say that lightly. Every dish tastes like home, authentic, comforting, and made with so much care. They’re currently pickup and delivery only, but don’t let that stop you, it’s 1000% worth ordering. The food travels beautifully and still feels homemade and fresh. My personal favorite are the meatballs, they are absolutely incredible. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor: they alone are worth the visit. But honestly, what makes Autana truly special is the family behind it. Levi, María Jose & María Elena. You can feel the warmth the moment you walk in. They don’t just cook food, they share a piece of Venezuela with you.

There aren’t adequate words to express my love of Autana’s food. I dream about it. The patacon is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. When Autana was in Ardmore - it was my favorite place to go for lunch with friends. And those friends still talk about those meals. So much love and intention in every detail, Last year, I made frequent trips to Autana’s tent at farmers markets so I could get their key lime pie. That pie is so incredible it’s got its own branding- el limon . Autana is a family owned business and there is heart and authenticity in everything they do. Get your next event catered by Autana. Order out and invite your friends. Follow them on Instagram for special events. You won’t be disappointed.

If you want authentic Venezuelan food and also DELICIOUS, buy here, I ordered 4 cachapas (1 Traditional, 2 pork with cheese, 1 beef with cheese) and it was amazing. Also the passion fruit juice 😮‍💨😮‍💨, and the tequeños with guava 10/10. I will order food in this place again for sure!

Ms Maria and Mr Levi treated me so well today when I came to their restaurant for the first time. The food is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend! Definitely have to get their shredded beef and cheese arepa!🩷 Dee
