There’s a reason there’s only 5 star reviews. Every year I take a solo vacation to get some time to myself as a mom; a momcation if you will. I eat out every meal often trying new places nearby my hotel (where I nap, take long luxurious baths, and relish in the quiet 💆🏼‍♀️). This time I came across Anhelo and I saw they had ceviche. I love me some ceviche so I figured why not? Oh my goodness. This was SO GOOD. I had the Ceviche Aji Amarillo to try something different and I was NOT disappointed. Truly had to stop myself from licking the bowl—this is fine dining don’t ya know. Finished it off with the basque cheesecake and I texted my husband “I’m mad I’m getting full because I feel like I’m doing a disservice to how amazing this is” (I did finish it off though 😅). My server was fabulous and helped with any questions I had about the menu. We’re going back this weekend for our 16th anniversary because I want to try a few more things on the menu and I can’t wait to share with the husband.

We had a really nice lunch here and overall the experience was great. Every dish we ordered tasted very good — the flavors were balanced, the presentation was beautiful, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. You can tell the kitchen cares about quality and plating. The seafood dishes were fresh, and the textures were on point. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was attentive without being intrusive. It’s definitely a place I would come back to for a relaxed meal. The only downside for me was the Spanish seafood paella. While it tasted good, I personally felt the price was a bit high for the portion and overall value. It wasn’t bad by any means — just not quite worth the price compared to the other dishes we tried. Other than that, everything else was really solid. I would recommend ordering some of their other specialties instead if you’re looking for better value.

What a great neighborhood gem! I have been meaning to try this place and ended up going with the wife for dinner on Valentine’s Day. There was live music but it wasn’t intrusive and added to the Latin vibe. It’s an interesting mix of cuisines, from French to South American, Spanish and Asian. Our server told us that there are two chefs - one from Venezuela and Peru, and the other from a michelin star restaurant in Spain. The food was delicious, lots of great options but I recommend the Anhelo ceviche for sure. Drinks were also surprisingly good, the bartended Andrew told us all about how he came up with each of the drinks we ordered, I really liked the Day Spa margarita with cucumber. 10/10 will definitely come back to try some more dishes!

Anhelo Bistro is one of our top date spots. This bistro is a true gem in a great part of town with plenty of free parking! 💎 It’s the perfect lunch spot for the girls or a cozy dinner for two. The service goes above and beyond, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We loved the Beef Carpaccio, the flavorful Caribbean Shrimp and Chicken, and the perfectly cooked Ribeye. The non-alcoholic Strawberry Fizz is summer in a glass—highly recommend! 🤌🤌🤌 A must-visit LOCAL spot with amazing food and great vibes! Add it to your list of places to try soon.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on a search for a nearby place to eat. We could not be more pleased. The food was delicious. Atmosphere was great. Nice place for a date night. I ordered the mushroom risotto with shrimp added on. My wife ordered the pork ribs. Both were perfect. We will definitely be back to try their octopus.
