I don't know what I was expecting but this is just what I needed. We got the 3 for 20 deal with he vegiterian, vegan, and spicy black bean and all three were great. On their own they were good but what made them great was the combo with the sauces. There were three sauces: a cilantro lime, sun dried tomato, and sweet and sour sauce (or at least that's all what they tasted like). Between the varried sauces and sandwiches it was really flavorful. The service was friendly and the food was really quick. The atmosphere was decent with colorful decorations and lots of windows. A small note is that there aren't water glasses but rather just plastic cups and a pitcher on the side of the room.

Great food, especially for gluten free people. I cannot speak to authenticity, but the yellow sweet corn arepas tasted amazing. The black beans were also VERY good. We had the Tres Empanadas and Yuca fries appetizers (loosely using that term here, the food comes out when it comes). Empanadas were greasy but I especially liked the beef one. Husband liked the cheese one! Yuca fries were not salty enough for me. The grilled chicken in the arepa was a little dry, but the thing as a whole was good. The beef arepa was perfect - plantains a perfect complement to the yellow corn arepa, and the beef was shredded and delicious. Should have ordered 2-3! They have some sauces on the table, the spicy one is quite good. Service was totally lacking, but we did not mind. It’s counter order with table delivery.

Are you looking for a quick bite that is different in flavor, fulfilling in taste, easy to share with friends, I think Pica Pica could be just that place. I have come here plenty of times after playing sports and feeling hungry for something to tie me over. I love their Arepas , there are plenty to choose from. Their yuca fries are always yummy . Staff is moving orders and the atmosphere is alright for a quick bite. Give it a try if you haven't already.
